DHAKA, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh U-17 national football team continued their full-fledge training held at the Kelaniya football complex in Colombo today ahead of the SAFF U-17 Championship.

After the day's ground training in the morning, the booters participated in a swimming session at the team hotel, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation.

Goalkeeping coach Arifur Rahman Pannu through a video message said he is very hopeful with his team's good result in the first match against Nepal.

"We have closely monitored Nepal's first match and the boys worked as accordingly in the day's training session ... if the boys apply those techniques properly against Nepal, than we can expect a good result against them." said Pannu.

Bangladesh will start their tournament campaign taking on Nepal on September 18 and play their last group match against Sri Lanka on September 21.
