DHAKA, Sept 16, 2025 (BSS)- Mymensingh and Rangpur districts won their respective opening final round matches of JFA U-14 Women's Development programmes that has begun at Muktijuddha Smrity Stadium in Rajshahi today (Tuesday).

On the day, Mymensingh distort thrashed Khagrachari district by 6-0 goals with Moni scored hat-trick with five goals while she was well supported by Rimi who scored a lone goal.

Earlier in the day's first match, Rangpur district blanked Rajshahi district by 5-0 goals.

In the proceeding, Sagorika slammed hat-trick with four goals while Annona supported her with a lone goal for Rangpur in the one-sided affairs. 

Eight district teams, split into two groups, are taking part in the final round.

After the group phase matches, the top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinals on September 23 while the final is slated for September 25.

The participating district teams in the final round:

Group A - Rajshahi, Khagrachari, Mymensingh and Rangpur districts.

Group B - Thakurgaon, ChapaiNawabgqanj, Khulna and Manikganj districts.
