
DHAKA, Nov 5, 2025 (BSS) - Ireland cricket team is set to arrive in Bangladesh tomorrow (Thursday) for a series, consisting of two Tests and three T20 Internationals.
This is the first time Ireland will play two Tests in Bangladesh, having last visited the country in 2023 for one Test and three T20 Internationals.
The Test series is particularly important for the fact that veteran Mushfiqur Rahim will reach the milestone of 100 Tests as the first Bangladesh cricketer in this series.
Ireland will start the tour with a Test series with the first Test in Sylhet from November 11-15.
Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur, will host the second and final Test from November 19-23.
The three T20 Internationals will be held in Chattogram on November 27, 29 and December 2.
