DHAKA, Nov 5, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) governing council has announced that the 12th edition of the tournament will kick-start on December 19, featuring five teams. 

Dhaka, Rangpur, Chattogram, Rajshahi, and Sylhet are the five participating teams in this year. It's the lowest number of team participating in the BPL in its history.

The last edition saw the participation of seven teams. 

This edition will be held in a short window with the final on January 16. 

The players draft will be held on November 17.

Toggi Sports - Rangpur 

Triangle Services - Chattogram 

Champion Sports - Dhaka 

Nabil Group - Rajshahi 

Cricket with Sami - Sylhet
