Naim Sheikh keeps Mymensingh flowing on rain-hit day

DHAKA, Nov 8, 2025 (BSS) - Opener Naim Sheikh keeps up his good run of form as 
Mymensingh reached 100-2 on rain-curtailed Day 1 against Dhaka Division in 
the National Cricket League (NCL) third round at Cox's Bazar Cricket Academy 
today.

Only 32 overs play were possible after a delayed start due to wet outfield. 

Naim Sheikh made a 55 not out to lead the charge, ensuring Mymensingh won't 
fall in deep trouble despite some good bowling effort by Dhaka bowlers.

Aminul Islam Biplob was batting on 8 with Naim when the bails were drawn for 
Day 1. Abdul Mazid added 23 before retiring hurt due to injury.

Anamul Haque and Salahuddin Shakil took one wicket apiece for Dhaka.
