BPL players auction rescheduled to Nov 30

DHAKA, Nov 20, 2025 (BSS) - The BPL Governing Council of the Bangladesh 
Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that the Players' Auction for the upcoming 
Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will now be held on November 30 at a local 
hotel in the capital.

The auction was previously scheduled for November 23.

In a press release, the BCB said the new date was set to ensure smooth 
coordination among all stakeholders.

"The new date has been set to ensure smooth coordination among all 
stakeholders and to deliver a well-organised auction event," the board said.

The Players' Auction is considered a key milestone ahead of the 12th edition 
of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20, as franchises prepare to shape 
their squads for the upcoming season.
