Indian IM Aaryan maintains solo lead

DHAKA, Nov 21, 2025 (BSS)- International Master Aaryan Varshney of India maintained his solo lead in the points table with six points after the seventh round of Leonine 3rd Grandmasters Chess tournament held at hall room of the Leonine Chess Club today (Friday).

International Master Manon Reja Neer and GM Nguyen Duc Hoa of Vietnam jointly following the leader with 4.5 points each.

International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman is in 3rd position with four points.

In the day's seventh round matches, IM Aaryan Varshney defeated Grandmaster Reefat Bin Sattar, International Master Manon Reja Neer beat International Master Mohammad Fahad Rahman, International Master Abu Sufian Shakil outclassed FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia and GM Nguyen Duc Hoa defeated FIDE Master Sakline Mostafa Sajid.
