Amputee Football League begins tomorrow

DHAKA, Nov 30, 2025 (BSS) - The first ever Amputee Football League will begin tomorrow (Monday) as part of the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

The two-day meet will be held with the full cooperation of Sports for Hope Independence (SHI) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

Four boys' and two girls' teams will participate in this league. All games will be held at the Disabled Sports Ground at Asad Gate of the Parliament Building in the capital.

The knock out group stage matches will be played on the opening day while the final match is slated for Tuesday (Dec 2), after the knockout stage matches.
