DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS)- Narail district team blanked Patuakhali district 
team by 2-0 goals in a final round match of the Aparajeyo Alo Women's Hockey 
tournament held at Jashore venue today (Thursday).

In the proceeding, Munia scored the field goal early in the 11th minute for 
Narail while Singdha Biswas sealed the victory converting penalty corner in 
the 49th minute of the match.

In the day's another match, host Jashore district team played out to a 1-1 
draw with Jhenaidah district team also held at the same venue.

After the barren first quarter, Akhi Sultana put Jashore ahead with a field 
goal in the 23rd minute while Nadiya restored the parity for Jhenaidah 
converting a penalty corner in the 46th minute of the match.
