DHAKA, Jan 26, 2026 (BSS) - Chittagong Abahani Limited made a winning start in 
the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) defeating 10 men Dhaka Rangers 
Football Club by a lone goal at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground in 
the capital today (Monday).

After the barren first half, Mahfuzur Rahman Babu finally broke the deadlock 
scoring the decisive goal for Chittagong Abahani in the 90+5th minute from a 
spot kick.

Chittagong Abahani will play their next match against Little Friends Club on 
Thursday (January 29) while Dhaka Rangers Football Club will play against 
Chattogram City Football Club on the same day.
