DHAKA, Jan 26, 2026 (BSS) - The official Facebook page of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Forces has been changed.

An urgent notice has been issued today regarding the change to the official Facebook page of the RAB.

The notice stated that for unavoidable security reasons and in accordance with an official decision, RAB Forces’ previous Facebook page (Name: Rapid Action Battalion-RAB Online Media Cell, URL: [https://facebook.com/ rabforcesofficial) has been permanently shut down.

From now on, all operational activities, awareness campaigns and information dissemination of RAB Forces will be conducted through a new official Facebook page. Details of the new official page are as follows:

In this situation, all citizens of the country and members of the media are requested to note that RAB currently has no affiliation with the previous page (Name: Rapid Action Battalion–RAB online media cell, URL: (https://facebook.com/ rabforcesofficial).

To avoid confusion and to receive accurate and timely information, everyone is kindly requested to follow the above-mentioned new page (Rapid Action Battalion – RAB).

RAB Forces has always worked as a symbol of public safety and trust. This decision to change our digital platform has also been taken with the aim of ensuring a more secure and stronger communication system, the notification added.

Everyone is urged to remain cautious and not to be misled by any irrelevant or fake pages.
