DHAKA, Jan 28, 2026 (BSS) - Cute First Division Men's Handball League, 
organised by Bogura District Sports Association (DSA), began at the football 
ground adjoining Shahhed Chandu Stadium in Bogura today (Wednesday).

On the opening day, Fakir Uddin Handball Club beat Police Handball Club by 
14-7 goals, Beat Handball Club defeated Talora Handball Club by 10-2 goals 
and HN Handball Club outclassed Seven Star Handball Club by 19-10 goals.

After the round robin league matches, the semifinals, place-deciding match 
and final of the league will be held on January 31.

A total of 10 teams, split into two groups, are taking part in the four-day 
meet.

The participating teams:

Group A - Nishindara Fakir Uddin Handball team, Police Line Handball team, 
Seven Star Handball Club, HN Handball Club (white team) and Master Handball 
Club

Group B - Beat Handball Club, Talora Handball Club, HN Handball Club (red 
team), Shibganj Handball Club and Biyam Handball Club.
