Tarique Rahman goes to Rajshahi tomorrow

DHAKA, Jan 28, 2026 (BSS)- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman is going to Rajshahi tomorrow to take part in the party’s election campaign.

He will deliver speech as the chief guest at the election rally to be organized at the historic Madrasa ground in the city at 12 noon. 

During this visit, he will also address rallies in Rajshahi, Naogaon, and Bogura, according to BNP media cell. 
On the occasion of Tarique Rahman’s visit, widespread enthusiasm and excitement have been prevailed among BNP leaders and workers.

Local leaders of the party are preparing with the aim of creating the largest public gathering in Rajshahi's political history.  

Local BNP leaders said Tarique Rahman last came to Rajshahi in 2004 to attend the union representatives’ conference. 

Party leaders in Rajshahi on Wednesday said all preparations for Tarique Rahman's visit have been finalized. 

Mizanur Rahman Minu, BNP-nominated candidate for Rajshahi Sadar constituency said Tarique Rahman will bring a message for Rajshahi and North Bengal. 
According to the schedule, after the Rajshahi public meeting Tarique Rahman will leave for his home district Bogura via Naogaon. 

He will reach Naogaon by evening and deliver a speech at the ATM ground there. He will join a public meeting at Altabunnessa playground in Bogura city around 8 PM. The BNP chief will stay at Hotel Naz Garden at night.
  
On the second day of the visit, Tarique Rahman will conduct public outreach in various areas including his own electoral area's Charmatha, Baropur, and Shabgram and deliver speeches at roadshows at 11 AM. Then, after performing Jumma prayers at Mahasthangarh, he will participate in a public meeting organized at his ancestral home in Gabtali at 3:30 PM.
