DHAKA, Feb 28, 2026 (BSS) - The Executive Committee Election-2025 of the Bangladesh Golf Federation was held today at Kurmitola Golf Club in Dhaka Cantonment under the overall supervision of an election commissioner formed by the National Sports Council.

Councilors nominated from the affiliated golf clubs of the federation exercised their voting rights to elect candidates for various posts, thereby forming the new Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Golf Federation.

Following the election, an iftar programme was arranged at Kurmitola Golf Club under the overall management of the federation.

Chief of Army Staff of the Bangladesh Army and President of the Bangladesh Golf Federation, General Waker-Uz-Zaman, attended the iftar mahfil as the chief guest. 

Councillors from different golf clubs across the country, invited guests and representatives from various media outlets were also present at the programme.
