DHAKA, March 12, 2026 (BSS) - Bandarban and Chattogram U-17 district football teams reached Karnafuli zone final of the U-17 National Championship eliminating their respective rivals in the semifinal held at Bandarban district stadium in Bandarban today (Thursday).

The final between the two teams will be held on Saturday (March 14) at the same venue 1.45 pm.

On the day, host Bandarban district team beat Lakshmipur district team by 1-0 goal with Mandon Mro scoring the all-important goal for the winners’ in the 45th minute in the first semifinal while Chattogram district team booked their place of final defeating Feni district team by 4-2 goals in penalty shootout in the second semis.

The keenly contested match rolled into tie-breaker after the regulation time ended in a tame goalless draw.
