DHAKA, April 21, 2026 (BSS)-Both Bangladesh and New Zealand national cricket
team reached Chattogram today to play the third and final ODI and first two
matches of the three-match T20 series.

The third ODI turned out to be a deciding match after the series locked at 1-
1.

New Zealand drew the blood first, having won the first game by 26 runs while
Bangladesh bounced back in style with a six-wicket victory to level the
series.

Pace bowler Nahid Rana was instrumental in series-leveling victory,
unsettling the New Zealand batters with searing pace amid scorching heat,
something which left the visitors completely astounded.

However the series-deciding third ODI is scheduled to be held on Thursday at
the Bir Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium.

The two sides will rest today before resuming their training on Wednesday for
the final ODI.

Following the ODI series, the two teams will contest a three-match T20
series. The first two matches will be held in Chattogram on April 27 and 29,
with the final scheduled for May 2 in Dhaka. All T20 matches are set to begin
at 2 pm.
