DHAKA, April 29, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has revisited its earlier decision regarding the No Objection Certificate (NOC) issued to national team fast bowler Nahid Rana for participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) T20.
Upon review, the BCB has decided to grant Nahid Rana permission to rejoin his franchise Peshwar Zalmi for the final of the tournament scheduled to be held on May 3.
"This decision has been made considering the significance of participating in the final of a major global franchise competition, which is viewed as an important step in the continued development of the player," BCB stated in a press release today.
"More importantly, the team management and BCB medical team has provided clearance, confirming that his participation in the match will not adversely affect his fitness, workload management or availability for national duty."
The BCB rested Nahid from the ongoing T20 International series against New Zealand in a bid to get him for the upcoming two-match Test series against Pakistan.
BCB said that Nahid Rana remains on track to be available for selection for the first Test against Pakistan, set to commence in Dhaka on May 8.
