DHAKA, June 13, 2026 (BSS) – Hosts Bangladesh shrugged off their previous match defeat as they bounced back to register a 39-25 goals victory over Nepal in the Under-18 category of Men's age group International Handball Federation (IHF) Trophy held at the Shaheed Captain M. Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in Paltan today (Saturday).

This was Bangladesh's second victory in three matches in the tournament. Bangladesh will face Afghanistan in its final match of the round-robin league scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday) at 1 p.m.

Jebe Dai Bom was instrumental in Bangladesh's win over Nepal. He shared top-scoring honors with David Bom, with both players scoring seven goals apiece in the match.

Bangladesh maintained its dominance throughout the match.
However, Jebe Dai Bom, who scored 18 goals against India in the previous game, was unable to score as freely in this match and did not meet the high expectations set by his earlier performance.
