Tahsin beats Kazakh opponent in Int’l Chess

DHAKA, July 9, 2026 (BSS)–FIDE Master Tahsin Tazwar Zia defeated Kazakhstan's Kazhmurat Altair in the fifth-round match of the Open A section of the International Chess Tournament Paraćin 2026, currently being held in Paraćin, Serbia.

With the victory, Tahsin has collected three points from five matches in the tournament, said a press release.
