DHAKA, Sept 7, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh national hockey team suffered a narrow 6-5 defeat to China’s senior national hockey team in their third preparatory as pa part of preparation for the Asian Games held today (Monday) at the Tuanbo Sports Center in Jinghai District, Tianjin, China.
Rocky delivered an impressive performance for Bangladesh, scoring twice. Ashraful, Amirul and Mahbub also found the net once each for Bangladesh.
As part of their Asian Games preparation, Bangladesh will play a total of five matches in China. After facing provincial teams in their first two matches, this was Bangladesh’s first test against China’s senior national team.
Despite the defeat, Bangladesh fought neck to neck in the match, providing encouraging signs ahead of the Asian Games engagement.
