KUSHTIA, June 24, 2025 (BSS) - Aman rice seeds and fertilizers were 
distributed among 2,200 small and marginal farmers of Kumarkhali upazila of 
the district today.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) SM Mikail Islam inaugurated the programme as 
the chief guest on the upazila parishad premises this afternoon with Upazila 
Agriculture Officer Md. Raisul Islam in the chair.

To increase the cultivation and production of Ufshi Aman rice in the upazila, 
seeds and fertilizer were distributed among the farmers.

Each of the farmers received 5 kg of seeds and 10 kg of MOP and DAP 
fertilizers for cultivating in one bigha of land.
