BGCCI hosts event on “Policy Alignment to Enhance the Trade and Investment Climate”

DHAKA, Feb 27, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BGCCI) organized a business networking event on “Policy Alignment to Enhance the Trade and Investment Climate” on Wednesday at the Westin hotel in the city. 

This vibrant event strengthened business networking and fostered positive connections between Bangladesh and Germany, said a press release today.

The programme was attended by Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, Executive Chairman, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), as the chief guest for this prestigious event while Md Anwar Hossain, Administrator, BGMEA and Vice-Chairman, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB),was as a special guest.

K Nagaraj, Director, BGCCI, Country Head of TÜV SÜD Bangladesh (Pvt.) Ltd., made opening remark as a chairman of the event.

BGCCI President M Maksud gave the welcome address and thanked all the participants for attending despite their busy schedules.

Moderator of the question-and-answer Session was Md Rokonuzzaman, Director, BGCCI and Managing Director of AMANN Bangladesh Ltd who is also co-chairman of the event.

The event served as a dynamic platform for BGCCI members, diplomats, including government representatives and policymakers, industry leaders, private sector stakeholders, academics, international development agencies to connect, share insights, and explore collaborative opportunities.
