DHAKA, March 20, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Bank (BB) has instructed all banks and financial institutions 
to pay salaries and allowances of employees for this month by March 23.

The central bank also instructed to clear the payments of retirement allowances for pensioners by the same date.

To this end, BB issued two circulars.

Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to be observed across Bangladesh on March 31, subject to moon sighting.
