DHAKA, March 24, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Bank (BB) has announced April 3 as a holiday for non-bank
financial institutions (NBFIs), the same as government employees.

The central bank today issued a notification in this regard.

According to the notification, the Ministry of Public Administration has declared April 3 (Thursday) as a
public holiday on the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Fitr.

Finance companies, like government institutions, will also be closed on that day.

However, the central bank is yet to declare the holidays for banks on the occasion of Eid.
