DHAKA, March 25, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Bank (BB) has re-fixed the duration of interbank 
transactions for March 28-29.
 
Despite the government holiday for Eid-ul-Fitr on March 28-29, branches of the scheduled banks 
in the readymade garments industrial areas will remain open to facilitate payment of garment 
workers' salary, Eid bonus, allowances and export-import activities.
 
For March 28, the presentment the cut off time for high value clearing through the Bangladesh 
Automated Clearing House (BACH) will be 10.45am while the return cut off time will be 
11.30pm, said a BB circular issued here today.
 
The presentment cut off time for regular value clearing is 11.30am while the return cut off time is 
1pm, it added.
 
For March 29, the presentment cut off time for high value clearing through the BACH will be 
11.30am while the return cut off time will be 12.30pm. 
The presentment cut off time for regular value clearing is 12am while the return cut off time is 
1pm,
 
The existing time of BEFTN will remain unchanged.
 
Under RTGS, all transactions will be available between 10am and 12pm on March 28 and 10am 
and 1pm on March 29.
