Musk says cost impact of Trump tariffs on Tesla car parts 'not trivial'

WASHINGTON, March 27, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Tesla boss Elon Musk said Wednesday the cost impact of President Donald Trump's tariffs on Tesla car parts was "not trivial".

"To be clear, this will affect the price of parts in Tesla cars that come from other countries. The cost impact is not trivial," he posted on X after Trump announced steep tariffs on imports of cars and parts.
