BEIJING, March 27, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - France is seeking a "rapid solution" to a dispute with China over cognac imports, the country's top diplomat said in Beijing on Thursday.

"Our common goal is to reach a rapid solution to this issue, which would allow us to focus our energies and efforts on building partnerships and investments for the future," Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot said alongside Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
