DHAKA, March 28, 2025 (BSS) – Teletalk Bangladesh Limited, the only state-owned mobile phone operator in the country, has announced a 10 percent price reduction on its data packages to provide high-speed mobile internet facilities to its customers at affordable prices.

Teletalk customers will get the reduced data package facilities from the day of Eid-ulk-Fitr.

The Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology made the announcement today, said a press release signed by Muhammad Jasim Uddin, Public Relations Officer of the ministry.
The decision was taken following a recent move by Bangladesh Submarine Cable Company Limited (BSCCL), which reduced its bandwidth rental prices by 10 percent.
In order to reach out the benefit of this rental reduction to the customer level, Teletalk has reduced the prices of most of its existing data packages by 10 percent.

The reduction will be effective from Eid and will remain in force until further instructions.
