RAJSHAHI, July 31, 2025 (BSS)- A daylong event on showcasing the best innovative initiative was held at Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) here today.

Additional Secretary of the Financial Institution Division of the Ministry of Finance and Chief Innovation Officer Ahsan Habib and its Joint Secretary Farida Yeasmin joined the event as chief and special guests respectively with RAKUB Managing Director Wahida Begum in the chair.

Deputy Managing Director Kazi Abdur Rahman and General Managers Atiqul Islam and Rahmatullah Sarker were also present on the occasion.

The event showcased six innovative initiatives and one of those was adjudged as the best.

RAKUB clinched the top position in specialized bank category in implementation of the e-governance and innovative work-plan in 2023-2024 financial year.

Speaking at the event, Ahsan Habib underscored the need for making the people-oriented service-delivery process easier through innovative initiatives.

He also called for ensuring time-befitting measures through digitalization so that the clients in general can get banking services cost effectively and in the shortest possible time.
