Administrator appointed at ATAB

DHAKA, Aug 4, 2025 (BSS) - The Ministry of Commerce has appointed its deputy secretary Mutakabbir Ahmed as an administrator to the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB).

The appointment was made through an official order signed by Muhammad Rehan Uddin, Director General (Current Charge) of the Trade Organization wing, today under the Ministry of Commerce.

According to the order, Mutakabbir Ahmed, Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, has been appointed as the administrator to the Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB).

Mutakabbir will hold a free and fair election within 120 (one hundred and twenty) days, hand over responsibilities to the newly elected committee, and thus inform it to the ministry accordingly.
