Oasis Accessories to invest $4.8m in BEPZA EZ

DHAKA, Sept 8, 2025 (BSS) - Oasis Accessories (Pvt) Ltd, a Bangladeshi company, is set to invest US$4.8 million to establish a garments accessories industry in the BEPZA Economic Zone (BEPZA EZ) located in Mirsharai, Chattogram.

An agreement to this effect was signed today at the BEPZA Complex, Dhaka, between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and Oasis Accessories (Pvt.) Ltd.

In the presence of BEPZA Executive Chairman Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, the agreement was signed by Md. Ashraful Kabir, Member (Investment Promotion), on behalf of BEPZA, and Md. Selim Reza, Managing Director of Oasis Accessories (Pvt.) Ltd, on behalf of the company, said a press release.

The company will annually produce one million pieces of cartoon box, 42 million poly bags, and one million meters foam. The project is expected to create employment for some 311 Bangladeshi nationals.

So far, 48 companies, including Oasis Accessories, have signed investment agreements with BEPZA EZ, with a total proposed investment of $1028.39 million.
 
The signing ceremony was attended by senior BEPZA officials, including Member (Engineering) Md. Imtiaz Hossain, Member (Finance) ANM Foyzul Haque, Executive Director (Investment Promotion) Md. Tanvir Hossain, Project Director of BEPZA EZ Mohammad Anamul Haque, Executive Director (Public Relations) ASM Anwar Parvez, along with representatives from Oasis Accessories (Pvt.) Ltd.
