ICSB inaugurates 57th batch of chartered secretary course

DHAKA, March 8, 2026 (BSS) - Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh 
(ICSB) has organized an Orientation Programme for the students of 57th Batch 
of the Chartered Secretary (CS) Course of the Dhaka Campus on Saturday at the 
ICSB premises. 

The Inauguration Session was attended by a good number of students, said a 
press release.
 
Md Shamibur Rahman FCS, Secretary in Charge moderated the programme. 

He began by welcoming the newly admitted students to the new chapter of their 
lives, and then detailed how this professional qualification would be 
instrumental in their career advancement. 

While delivering the Welcome Remark, Md Rafiqul Islam FCS, Senior Vice 
President and Chairman of the Education Committee of ICSB said that the 
programme marks the beginning of a new journey and congratulated them. 

He apprised them about the course and class conducting process; highlighted 
the prospects of the Chartered Secretary profession and assured them of 
constant cooperation. 

He warmly welcomed all new students to ICSB. 

Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan FCS, Council Member and Chairman of 
Examination Committee of ICSB also welcomed all new entrants and focused on 
the importance of this profession in the national and global context.
 
He also briefly discussed the examination process.

Hossain Sadat FCS, President of ICSB inaugurated the 57th Batch of Chartered 
Secretary (CS) Course by extending greetings to the new students. 

He urged the students to strive for academic excellence and professional 
values. 

He highlighted that Chartered Secretaries are engaged in multiple 
professional fronts and contribute significantly to both the advancement of 
the profession and national economic growth. 

He briefly discussed the prospect of the Chartered Secretary (CS) profession. 

Md. Sharif Hasan FCS, Vice President; Md. Mizanur Rahman FCS, Treasurer; 
Mohammad Shahajahan FCS, Council Member; M Mazedul Islam FCS, Council Member 
were present and discussed in the Orientation Programme.

In the concluding note, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Council Member of 
ICSB, accented the demanding nature of the Chartered Secretary qualification 
and thanked everyone for choosing the profession. 

He encouraged them to become the brand ambassadors of ICSB.
