44.3pc growth of remittance inflow till March 11

DHAKA, March 12, 2026 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year 
growth of 44.3 percent reaching US$1,920 million in the first 11 days of 
March, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here 
today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,330 
million.
 
During the July to March 11, 2026 of the current fiscal year, expatriates 
sent remittances of $24,374 million, which was $19,820 million during the 
same period of the previous fiscal year.
