Three VCs pay homage to martyr Abu Sayeed

DHAKA, Jan 8, 2025 (BSS) - Vice Chancellors of Begum Rokeya University Professor Dr M Shawkat Ali, Professor Dr Saleh Hasan Nakib of Rajshahi University and Professor Dr ABM Obaidul Islam of Bangladesh Open University visited the graveyard of martyr of July uprising  Abu Sayeed at his village home in Rangpur.

The vice chancellors of the three universities offered fateha and munjat at his grave at Babanpur village of Pirganj upazila under Rangpur district yesterday, said a Begum Rokeya university release today said.

After the visit at the grave of Sayeed, a former student of Begum Rokeya University, the vice chancellors talked to the family members of the martyrs of July uprising and inquired about their well-beings.

Dr Harun-Ar Rashid, register of Begum Rokeya University was present at that time.
