2 held with firearms in Khagrachhari

KHAGRACHARI, Jan 9, 2025 (BSS) - Members of joint forces today arrested two youths with firearms from the Dakther Tilla area under Guimara upazila of the district.

The arrestees were Rubel Tripura Jashim, 20, son of Gridijoy Tripura of Karbari Para and Manjur Alam, 21, son Bacchu Mia of Kolabari area. They are the members of Parbatya Chattogram Jana Samhati Samiti.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of joint forces raided the area and arrested the duo. They also recovered one LG, seven round bullets, two mobile phones and Taka 1,868.

Legal action has been taken against them.
