Daylong training on e-commerce held in Chapainawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 10, 2025 (BSS)- A daylong training programme for the entrepreneurs on e-commerce and Laalsobuj.com was held here on Thursday.

Jatyo Mahila Sangstha under the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs organised the programme under its "Tottho Apa Project", a project that aims to provide information technology (IT) services to underprivileged rural women in Bangladesh, Phase-2.

It was held at the conference room of Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila Parishad with the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mst Tasmina Kathun in the chair. 

Project Director of Tottho Apa Project Joint Secretary Shahnaj Begum Nina attended the training programme as the chief guest while its Deputy Project Director Joint Secretary S. Nazimul Islam and Accounts Officer Md. Faruk Iqbal attended it as special guests. 

Besides, Information Service Officer of Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila Information Centre Asia Khatun, other officials and their assistants were present. 

A total of 50 entrepreneurs-- 10 from each of five upazilas of the district of Laalsobuj.com participated in the programme.
