LAXMIPUR, Jan 10, 2025 (BSS)- The district administration here today distributed 500 blankets among poor.

Deputy Commissioner Rajib Kumar Sarker distributed the blankets in a function arranged by Laxmipur municipality at Govt. Adarsha Samad High School premises. 

Deputy Director of the local government division and municipality administrator M Jahim Uddin, Chief Executive of the Municipality Khan Mohammad Farabi and Municipality Official M Kamrul Islam, among others, were present.

In the district, winter clothes were also distributed among poor in different madrashas, orphanage, bus terminals at Sadar, Raipur, Ramganj and Ramgati upzilas of the district.
