DINAJPUR, Jan 12, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and two others were injured
in a road accident in Velaine Bhandaribazar area under Ghoraghat upazila of
the district today.

The deceased was Mijanur Rahman, 40, son of Abu Bakar Siddique, a resident of
Kulanandapur village of the upazila.

The accident took place when a truck hit a van from behind in the area around
4 pm, leaving three van passengers injured, said M Nazmul Haque, officer-in-
charge (OC) of Ghoraghat Police Station.

The injured were sent to the Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor
declared Mijanur dead.

A case was filed with Ghoraghat Police Station in this connection.
