Road crash kills one in Lakshmipur

LAKSHMIPUR, Jan 13, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed as a tractor hit him at Karoitala Bazar under Kamalnagar upazila of the district this noon.

The deceased was M Miraj Hossain, 22, son of Azad Uddin, a resident of Luthua village under Charfalkon union of the upazila.

Miraj Hossain died on the spot when a tractor hit him on the lakshmipur-Ramgati road at 12 noon, said Touhidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kamalnagar police station.

Police seized the tractor but its driver fled away. A case was filed with the police station in this connection.
