RANGPUR, Jan 21, 2025 (BSS)- Rangpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) 
and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) jointly distributed 1,000 
blankets among cold-hit poor and distressed people in the city today.
 
The two business bodies distributed the blankets in a function held at the 
RCCI auditorium of Rangpur Chamber Bhaban among the cold-stricken people to 
mitigate their sufferings under their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) 
programmes.
 
President of RCCI Md Akbar Ali with other officials, directors and members of 
the Relief Sub-Committee of the business body distributed the blankets in the 
function.
 
On the occasion, the RCCI President called upon businessmen, charity and 
voluntary organisations, banks and other financial institutions and affluent 
people to stand beside the cold-hit people.

Giving Management Sub-committee Convener and Chamber Director Md Taifur 
Rahman, Chamber Directors Md Harun-or-Rashid, Md Saiful Alam, Hasan Mahbub 
Akhter, Md Delwar Hossain Ripon, Md Azizul Islam, Md Sabihul Haque, Md Sanoar 
Hossain, Relief Sub-Committee members Md Jaber Hossain Nobel and Md Mojibur 
Rahman were present at the distribution ceremony.
