BCL leader Raju held in Savar

SAVAR, Feb 08, 2025 (BSS) - Police today arrested a leader of banned organization Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) from Bhadail area of Ashulia for his alleged involvement in firing on students and people during the July-August uprising.

The arrestee was - Raju Ahmed, 30, Deputy Education Affairs Secretary of BCL Dhaka district (North) Unit, police said.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of Ashulia police raided in the area and arrest Raju. Legal action has been taken against him.
