CHUANDANGA, Feb 9, 2025 (BSS) - Two motorcyclists were killed on the spot when the bike hit a roadside standing tractor at Bastapur of Damurhuda here last night.

The deceased was Nahid, 18, son of Aminul Islam hailed from Bastapur, and Sweet, 25, son of Selim Uddin hailed from the same village.

They were returning home from Ragunathpur at 11.30 pm on Saturday when the biker lost control over the wheel and hit a roadside tractor leaving them dead on the spot, said Officer in Charge (OC) of Damurhuda Model police station Humayun Kabir.

Police recovered the bodies and sent them to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.

The body will be handed over to their family member after autopsy.
