Operation Devil Hunt: four AL and Chattra League leaders arrested

NOAKHALI, Feb 10, 2025 (BSS) - The joint forces arrested four leaders and activists of Bangladesh Awami League and its outlawed entity Chattra League while conducting operations at different places in Hatia last night.

The arrestees are Noakhali district Chattra League assistant-secretary Swajib Chandra Das, 32, Tamaraddi union Jubo League publicity and publication secretary M Rubel, 32, Awami League leaders M Aftab Uddin, 36, and Salauddin, 28.

The drive has been operated at the Hatia upazila on the second day of the Operation Devil Hunt announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs, said Officer in Charge (OC) of Hatiya Police Station AKM Azmal Huda.

The joint drive of the Navy, Coast Guard, river police and Bangladesh police is in progress.
