Two killed in separate incidents in Magura

MAGURA, Feb 14, 2025 - Two people were killed in separate incidents in Magura, one in a stove fire and the other due to electrocution.

Sokhina Begum, 45, of Chaychar village, accidentally fell into a stove while cooking this morning. She was rushed to Magura Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

In another incident on Thursday evening, Abdul Kader Mollah, 50, from Sitarampur village, was electrocuted while he was setting up a tent for a religious event. He was taken to the hospital where he pronounced dead upon arrival.

Both bodies have been kept at Magura Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
