Discussion on life, works of Hazrat Ayesha (RA) held in Sirajganj

SIRAJGANJ, Nov 6, 2025 (BSS)- A discussion on the life and works of Ummul 
Momineen Hazrat Ayesha (RA) was held at Sirajganj District Model Mosque and 
Islamic Cultural Center today.

Islamic Foundation, Sirajganj organised the discussion with its Deputy 
Director Mohammad Faruk Ahmed in the chair.
 
Afsana Yasmin, chief executive officer of the District Council, attended the 
event as the chief guest while Mohammad Harun Ar Rashid Khan Hasan, president 
of Sirajganj Press Club, was present as special guest. 

Mohammad Anwar Hossain, field supervisor of the Islamic Foundation, delivered 
the welcome speech.

In her address, the chief guest said Hazrat Ayesha (RA) was the daughter of 
Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) and the youngest wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). 

"She was a renowned Islamic-woman scholar and political figure," Afsana 
Yasmin said, adding that Hazrat Ayesha (RA) contributed significantly to 
humanity. 

The special guest highlighted her pivotal role in early Islamic history 
during and after the lifetime of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
