Schoolboy killed in Jamalpur road crash

JAMALPUR, Feb 22, 2025 (BSS) - A schoolboy was killed when his head bumped
against a roadside tree from a running bus in Sarishabari upazila of the
district this morning.

The deceased was Rashedul Islam, 14, a student of class 10 and son of
Siddiqur Rahman, a resident of Char Adra village of the upazila.

Police said Rashedul was going to a school picnic with other students of the
school. On the way he got out his head outside into the window of the bus and
hit with a tree in Chhataria area of the upazila and sustained injuries.

Injured Rashedul was rushed to Sarishabari Upazila Health Complex where the
attending doctor declared him dead.
