DINAJPUR, Feb 22, 2025 (BSS) - A two-day Amar Ekushey Book fair and cultural 
programme was inaugurated here on the occasion of International Mother 
Language Day today amidst great enthusiasm of the people.

Ekushey Celebration Committee organised the fair at Natya Samiti House of the 
district town here.

Marking the Amar Ekushey, a discussion meeting was also held at the Centenary 
Dinajpur Natya Samiti House.

Professor Poet Jalil Ahmed addressed the discussion as the chief guest with 
Ekushey Celebration Committee convener Abdus Samad in the chair.

It was addressed, among others, by Senior Vice-president of Theatre 
Association Md. Shahidul Islam, General Secretary of Dinajpur Press Club 
Golam Nabi Dulal and Principal of Government College Professor Dr. Masudul 
Haque.
