CHATTOGRAM, Feb 22, 2025 (BSS) - Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested 19 gamblers, in a drive, at Bahaddarhat busterminal area under Chandgaon thana in the city on Friday night.

Aftab uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Chandgaon thana, told journalists that the raid was carried out at 1.20 am midnight on Friday.

During the drive, materials including playing cards used for gambling and TK 13,194 were recovered from them, the OC added.

Regular cases have been filed against them with Chandgaon thana.

The arrested have been sent to court after being shown arrested, he added.
