KISHOREGANJ, March 02, 2025 (BSS)– Mufti Abul Khair Mohammad Saifullah has been reinstated as the Imam of Sholakia Eidgah.
Sholakia Eidgah Maidan Committee took the decision at a meeting held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner today, said Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Ershad Mia.
Saifullah was the Imam of the Sholakia Eidgah from 2004 to 2009. But, on September 2, 2009, the then Deputy Commissioner removed him from the post allegedly under pressure of the then ruling party.
