July uprising injured get financial aid in Magura

MAGURA, March 2, 2025 (BSS) - Magura district administration distributed donation cheques to the families of 20 injured of July-August uprising. 

The cheques were handed over to the injured families at a function held at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner's office around 11.30 am today. 

Deputy Commissioner Md. Ahidul Islam presided over the function.

He said, "It is our moral responsibility to stand by the injured. This assistance will play an important role in their treatment and rehabilitation".

Each injured person was given a check for Taka 50,000 with the assistance of the Zila Parishad and Social Services Department. 

Zila Parishad officials, Social Services Officers, public representatives and leaders of various organizations were present at the program.

The family members of the injured expressed their gratitude to the district administration and expressed hope that this assistance will make an important contribution to their treatment and rehabilitation.
